His comments dont offend me in the slightest. The fact is that Rev. Al and his cronies make a big deal about this because he is white. Blacks can say whatever they feel like. They sing songs degrading their race. They talk worse about their women then Imus did. If a black man on the radio called the New Jersey devils a bunch of red neck crackers then there wouldnt be any outrage. Rev Al needs to get alife. Maybe learn how to become a real leader for his community. How about trying to get guns of the street. The poor black neighborhoods could use help Rev Al. It was a joke that wasnt funny. Thats all this is. The real racists are the ones calling for his head.
Also is Rev Al defending the white players on Rutgers that Imus called nappy headed hos? Are they being defended or was Imus just refering to black players. I am sure he said RUTGERS basketball. He didnt say the black nappy headed hos. He said the whole team. So please tell me if the black community cares about them. I dont think so.

His comments were out of line but if he had called Pat Summit trailer trash, nothing would have been said. The double standard is sooooo stupid. Al Sharperton is one of the biggest racists in America but because he hates white people is seems to be okay. When a white man gets fired over saying blacks were bred to be bigger and stronger and a major league manager basically says his team is mostly blacks and hispanics so the heat won't bother them but keeps his job, something is wrong.

of course not, he does this for a living (making fun of african americans) he apologized 2 days after his comments were criticized, if he were sorry he wouldnt need his PR guy to tell him to apologize to the nation. the whole nation knows he doesnt mean it and will do it again. he is a jerk and should be banned from radio for life. people think the whole race issue has blown over by now, well it is not. it is sad to see these kinds of people bring down americas society. i hate this guy and i am not even african american.

No he is not sorry at all. He said what he and his office clowns thought. Everyone has free speech yes, but this guy has a huge platform to say things out. He needs to learn to put his foot in his mouth.

I think if he wasnt made to feel sorry(by others) for the remarks he made, he would have done absolutely nothing.

people say what they mean, weather it be on the surface or deep down inside, Imus is an *** that should be out on the street.
