I have heard that teenager girls from 13-19 that go through labor are up and running hours after birth. Where older mothers take longer to recover..

Well, I was 34 and I recovered fairly quickly. So, I'm sure it just depends on ther person! Young women who are in great shape probably have a better time recoverinng. But, a woman can be in great shape at any age.

Also, you never know what complications you will have, and women of all ages can encounter complications. So, I don't think it's necessarily true.

not sure that this is true (especially for as young as 13 because that would traumatize their bodies) but i imagine late teens to early 20s would....i know my first 2 (i was 24 and 25 when they were born) i was up out of the bed within an hour or so walking around.......the 3rd and 4th ( i was 27 and 30) took much longer.

I doubt they are "up and running".. lol. But yes, younger women (ages 25 & under) are likely to recover much faster from child birth. It all depends on someone's body type and actualy type of delivery.
