It can mean several things. The girl might be trying to get your attention by directly telling you all the "good things" about herself. That way, she leaves you thinking that "ohh she's so great". She wants to attract you to her. She either really likes you and is showing off because she wants you to like her, or she is in need of attention and does that by showing off.
