Don't people realize that beauty is just an interpretation? For makeup users only plz..?

Have makeup users ever heard of going natural? Why must you put on makeup to look beautiful? Are you not beautiful without it? Must you put on makeup to feel good about yourself? In my opinion makeup is is just an illusion, a way for non- beautiful people to look good. However, I don't think anybody is ugly; by just being yourself, makes you the most beautiful thing in the world. Makeup is just a cover, do you wear it because you want to impress someone you like with your looks? Well, the person will have to see you without makeup sooner or later, then he will uncover the real you, the natural you. Listen to me now, please stop wearing makeup and be yourself, don't hide the natural beauty and set yourself free. Remember, beauty is just an interpretation. ♥ ☺

I don't mean to be offensive here but do you brush your hair? Get it cut nicely? If so why? Why not let it be natural? Just wash it and go...

It boils down to the same thing, presenting ourselves at our very best.
Makeup enables girls (and boys) to cover pimples - we don't always have pimples so why not cover them when we do?. To even out skin tone - some people have it naturally, others don't.

The other part of makeup is creating an identity. Like choosing your outfit says something about you - don't tell me that you go and pick up the very cheapest garments because you don't care. You make choices, and whatever criteria you use to make those choices tells everyone else something about you. Even if you are choosing for comfort, practicality or any of the less ostensibly 'vain' reasons, other people choose their look and purposefully intend to make a certain impression - makeup is an extension of this.

Makeup is also an art form. Like tending your garden or designing clothes.

I hardly ever wear it myself, but when I want to look special, or when I get an idea for a look I want to try out, off I go. Making a big fuss about NOT wearing any, is just as vain as wearing it. If you really didn't care, you wouldn't even notice, let alone start a topic. Try to see that the choices others make do not directly affect you. Don't judge because others find interest in makeup.

It's not always a mask, but for those it is, why are you attempting to change their opinions?

The reason I wear makeup is, well... It does make me look prettier. It conceals my dreaded natural blush and rids of the shine, plus brings attention to my features. Selecting makeup also gives me a chance to customize my face the way I like - I get to choose what makeup I wear and what colors! I get to wear orange and brown lipstick and add attractive eye colors like gold or olive.

I suppose makeup is some sort of cover, but my makeup feels like part of what I really am. Whenever I reapply powder or brown lipstick, I always feel so happy!

Thank you for the reminder though! I should stop wearing so much to the point of looking too unnatural and save the liquid foundation for high school and college! (Otherwise my skin will be dreadful when I become older.) :)

thanks really needed a boost of self esteem today!!! i personally started to wear makeup because i was young and every other girl my age was! so now if i go without it ppl think i look weird and are trying to find out whats different. most of the time i go without it but when im having a ugly day i put it on to make myself feel better and to cover the blemishes from makeup thanks for the kind words though!

bein a pretty cute girl who happens to wear make-up i must remind you make up is not always a cover up but also a way to play up your features. Myself, i have brown eyes and full lips. So i wear some eyeliner and flatterin eyeshadow as well as a nice lipgloss and i get complimented. At the same time i can wear no make up at all and guys still try to hit on me. Do i wear make up everyday? NO Does my boyfriend think im cute either way? YES. Make up can be fun.....embrace dont be so damn negative about it.

nicely i think of a woman peacock is extra beautiful than male peacock. A lioness is extra beautiful than lion. And nature isn't bias to guy. No. there is equality between women persons and adult males from natures factor.

Make up should not be used to make people look more beautiful, it is meant to be used to enhance what youve got naturaly and make it look its best, your meant to work with what you have not to change your look. Everyone looks better with a little slap on no matter how beautiful they are.

i wear it becaus ei have eczema and i have different color skin on half my face and i hate it soo much and i wear make up that actually helps it so i feel better about myself and i look better fwhich boosts my self confidence thats y i wear it but i know that everyone is beautiful but that doesnt mean that other people do and that wont stop them from judgin you

that`s right, however i choose to wear makeup because i enjoy playing around & trying out different products & colors...to me it`s part of my whole visual presentation, & i do it to please myself, not anyone else...i like to look my best, & doing that includes wearing makeup (i`m talking about me, personally)!!!
