It depends on which magazine you are working for. If you work for a magazine that doesn't sell many issues than no.

Every professional business will have tough interviews. Businesses want to hire the best people around and the only way to do that is being tough and seeing the results.

Try to get an internship while in college. If you are already done starting look for a job at a local newspaper or magazine company. You have to start small and work your way up.

Write, edit, write, revise, write. Keep writing, and read a few books about writing. It also helps me to read other professional writers writing. Keep practicing.

Good Luck.

1st you have to look like a writer. you have to be eager to be a journalist. you have to have a little experience before starting on your career. you have to look for a job and not stop until you do.

-yes, because they get more money and barely go bankrupt.

-some of are and those who have been in interviews are tough but mostly they are nervous because they are not used to being interviewed. but you are probably going to be nervous to because if you mess up they can pu you on tivo and record you and play it again and again. then they can send it to americas funniest home videos and make fun of you. this does not mean to scare you. but if they are nervous act normal and keep doing your interview.

-get a job during college in a magazine industry or a newspaper industry. this will help you gain experience during college.

- Work in a magazine industry or a newspaper industry and make reports or interviews and study them. remember you can critic your self the worst and do it better next time. you can also show it to somebody like a professor.
