what does it take to be a veternarian?

this is for a school project and i need the answer for a person who is a veternarian,was one, or about to be one and i need info on how hard it is to become one and what you need and what you have to go through to become one, and what is it like. because i want to become a veternarian someday.

A lot of work and an outstanding college GPA in a science field. Getting into Vet school is harder than med school because there is only 1 vet school/state.
