I'd recommend the American Museum of Natural History on Central Park West in New York City. Adjacent to it is the Hayden Planetarium, and there are a huge amount of exhibits. See the below link.

Guggenheim-

it was designed by a master architect and visionary artist, Frank Lloyd Wright. The experience of how you move through the Museum is just as great as the collection that is exhibited there....

and i love modern art so its a great collection to me!!

There are many museums in NYC, it depends on what you want to see. The best is whatever that means to you.

radio tv film museum..lots of historical moments and great tv on tape.
