What would I think? LUCKY!!!! I want to go. I would tell my wife, are you packed yet? I would let her go, my wife could use some girl time, as I deserve my guy time and she allows it. So I would allow her to go. As long as he brought me back a little sometin sometin, you know? Have fun....(if you go) ; )

It sounds like a blast, and like a really good way to spend some time with your girlfriends. If your husband has a problem with you going somewhere with your girlfriends, the two of you have a problem. It might be a trust problem, or a "he doesn't want to be by himself with 2 little kids for the whole weekend" problem, or something else, like work demands or money issues. I can't tell from your question if the two of you have already talked about this or not, but you need to. Spending some time with your individual friends is as necessary as spending time together for the health of your marriage. And spending some time with Dad will also be good for your children.

The first thing is how much trust to 2 people show in one another myself I would be fine with this with 2 children it seems like your mariage is a health one but your husband might be thinking of the old saying,What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas

I wouldn't have married someone I didn't trust, and I'd want her to go and have a good time if that's what she wanted to do.
Although thinking about the 18 months old baby that does seem like a long time to be away from a baby that young, but I suppose as long as I was there to take care of the baby it would be ok.
Everyone needs a little personal time now and then; I would be understanding if my wife wanted to go (and expect understanding from her when I had a 'just the guys' thing come up).

I would encourage her to go! Sheesh, if you can't trust your wife to go to Vegas without running off with some Elvis impersonator, then good riddance to bad rubbish!! *LOL*
Although in all fairness, my wife has no problem with me heading out with friends, and she in fact has gone off on "girls weekends" to the beach and Vegas and wherever.
As long as she's safe, it's peachy with me! She's a big girl now, so I have no problem as long as she eventually comes back ;)
I tease her when she goes off and tell her that if she hooks up with anyone to at least take pictures to bring home ;)

I'd think that was an inappropriate place to vacation alone if you are married. Even more inappropriate if some of the other women in the group were single or divorced and likely to hook up. You better make sure he's really OK with it or he could bring it up for years to come.
I expect my spouse would feel the same way about me going. Hell I wouldn't even ask.

Yeah, I live in Vegas and I can tell you first hand what I see when women come here for a "girls trip." I would assume since this man is your husband, he loves and trusts you.

Why is your husband not invited? Do you not like spending time with him? You both can have fun going to Vegas together. You can still hang out with your friends but also share some time with your husband.

I think when you make the choice to have a child, your commitment is with the children. Maybe I am old fashioned, but I would have never left my 2 kids to go on a trip unless it was out of necessity.
As a matter of fact, I was supposed to leave for LasVegas on 4/23, and cancelled the trip because I would not leave my 17 yr old at home without me. No opportunity to get into mischief. No surprises are going to happen here. I am not a cuke or a freak, just very obligated to get my kids to adulthood without problems.
