So I am 14.
And I am wondering where I could get a job for the summer.
I do not have a workers permit, but I am going to get one as soon as I have a job lined up.
Where would I be able to get a job?

Well it all depends on your state child labor laws.... you may have a hard time finding a job at your age... you could check the papers for babysitting and/or a mother's helper.... other than that make some phone calls to local businesses and ask them if they hire 14 yr olds and if they do ask them if they are hiring

People usually don't hire till you're 16, so it will be up to you to create your own jobs. Suggestions: Assisting an elderly neighbor, yard work, reading to the blind or elderly, babysitting, go grocery shopping for someone who can't get out, collect recylce items, etc. Go to or call the fire station and ask if you can learn CPR there. To have this certification will help get your more babysitting jobs. Good luck.
