Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on number of occasions, it is not at all possible to predict the winner of a tournament in advance.
Considering the present trend and form of the teams playing in the Super 8, hot favourites to win the world cup are Australia and New Zeland. However, if South Africa and Sri Lanka win the rest of the games in the Super 8, they also have a chance to win the cup.

We have just regained our no on ranking, and are currently undefeated. The only other team in th same spot as us is NZ, ans basically we have em on a leash!
