I don't speak english but :

Why is there racism towards latin people in english-speaking countries? I want to know, because I asked this question a long time ago, but later deleted, and I got plenty of insults just because I'm latin. Why is this?"

Tell me our opinions

Lo de la pregunta es que mis amigos me ayudaron a traducir , por si algun latino pasa por aqui , a que creen que se debe esto , la verdad me da rabia que la gente se aproveche de uno , no creen?

This is nothing against you personally. You are an outsider, someone who is different and people are afraid of that indifference. As an outsider, people dont trust you and conjure up all sorts of things like youll bring crime, drugs, etc to the town and since you represent the unknown and the unknown scares the hellout of people, and with all the discussions nowadays about immigration, that doesnt help much of anything. Someday all people will get along with each other and the world will be a better place

I really don't know, haven't noticed that before. I'm from Argentina and I like English people as I like latin ones.

I've noticed it alot where I live. My mom's from Mexico and my dad's Irish. My mom speaks spanish and moved here when she was 6(legally so don't get all huffy puffy ppl), but never taught us how. Years later when I asked why she didn't want us to speak spanish she told be it was because people tend to get their panties in a bunch when you speak spanish around them and she had wanted us to speak English.

As I get older I tend to notice that alot of people do get all binded in the panty area when ppl that speak spanish are around them. It's like they're all afraid of being talked about.

Personally I just think it's paranoid people that need to change.

for the same reason that someone that dosent speak english would like it in their native country because they dont understand what is being said thats my assumption. i speak fluent spanish and english i am not hispanic but i can tell you my friends hate it when i speak spanish to someone else because they think i am talking about them others sometimes say if your in america speak english. fine whatever i dont care speak whatever you want just make sure the person you are talking to can understand you and never think once that someone doesnt understand what you are saying because you never know.
