Yes. Four of my 10 cats are former strays. I also feed a kitty that stays in a pet house on my front porch (landlady won't let me bring any more cats in the house--didn't say anything about feeding strays, though;))

When I was growing up I did this all the time, my parents got to the point where they didn't even argue with me about it. I am such a softie for animals, especially the ones that seem lost and neglected. I still provide shelter for them when ever I can but now my aim is to find them good homes of their own.

Yeah, I do it all the time, then convey them to the humane society. The final one I picked up replaced into approximately 2 or 3 months in the past. The animal (cat) replaced into wandering close to the practice platform, and he replaced into skinny and drained and worn down. He has a reliable abode now :)
