Natural is always the way to go, especially if you're just starting to get more into makeup. Start with the following basics: mascara, blush, and gloss. When you get really good at applying these basics, then you can move on to eye shadow and eyeliner, foundation, and powder.
If you have hazel eyes, Almay makes this great collection called "Bring out the Hazel". It has coordinated eye shadow, liner, and mascara shades that make your eyes really pop! Start off with this, then experiment with similar shades from other lines. Plus, Almay is hypo-allergenic, which means it's good for sensitive skin.
Almay also makes coordinated lip palettes. What's your skin type? Fair? Medium? Dark? If you want to continue with the natural look, stick with pinks, peaches, and nudes for your lips. Use a light application of lip gloss to make your lips stand out without being overwhelming.
Finally, don't overdo your applications! If there's one thing that's unattractive on a woman, it's too much makeup on the face! You want to accentuate your features, not cover them up or look like a clown!

I'm glad that you are smart enough to ask first. Make-up should be applied based on a few things. 1. Type of event and 2. Time of day. If you keep these two things in mind you will look great all the time. Also remember that make-up is suppose to ENHANCE not MASK. Make sure that you have a good skin regimen, because it is your "Canvas." When I apply foundation I use a moist brush. Also, apply your concealer after you apply your foundation, and then apply a little foundation on top, and you will have a flawless, natural look! You might want try Lor'eal, they have a real natural even cover foundation.
Play around with it and soon you will look great.
You can play up your eyes with the colors you listed above. Did you know that most eye colors are enhanced by their own color? I hope this helps

I like natural makeup. Maybe just some mascara and a little bit of eyeliner to really make your eyes pop. If you put too much makeup on, I think it looks bad and makes you look like you are trying too hard. At only 17, you still have a lot of natural beauty. Use makeup to enhance your looks, not cover them up.

Well I personally love to buy natural looking colors(browns, light pinks, pastels) they go with everything. You don't need a lot of makeup, buy only a few dark shades and a few light shades. Eyeshadow pallets are really cool cuase they are bassically matched up already. What i do is try to have the basics(browns of all shades),a black or dark gray eyeshadow, and black pencil eyeliner.Once u hav those u can do anything. Put a really light shade on brow bone, medium shade on eyelid, and a dark shade on the crease of ur eye. I only line the bottom of my eye, but when u want a dramatic look line both.

First you should decide what colors go good with your skin, hair and eyes. If you have fair skin you should level out what you put on otherwise you will look like you are trying to hard on you body to impress someone. Greens and browns and possibly yellows would work with you eyes. I do not like people who put glops of makeup on just to look perfect and if you disagree that's okay because everyone has different opinions!! See if my advice works if it doesn't work sorry that it didn't!

Check out Iman's Beauty of color book. Sweetheart, it's great. I love my bronzer to the tenth power. I love the natural look but not blank canvas natural. foundation, bronzer, light eyeshadow and some neutral lipgloss. That's the way to go for me. When you can point out exactly what a girl is wearing, yea.....it's too much. You want to see art, not a mask.

I like eyeliner and natural looks. Don't be too dramatic, but def. do some color eyeshadow. Play around with it and you'll find something you like. Look in magazines too.
