Does it make a difference to YOU if she rewashes her face, maybe reapplies her makeup, a squirt of perfume and out of those house clothes and just overall makes an effort to look and smell decent? Or could you care less if you walk in her hair in a knot, scrubby clothes, greasy face? Serioiusly, are our efforts noticed enough to make a difference?

I like what the first person said, doing it once in awhile makes it a treat (for both of you). I have a 1 year old (her B-day is today) so sometimes it is hard to be beautified when he gets home, but on the occasion I do, I usually end up undressed shortly after his arrival anyways (I mean on the days when I really really try ;-) ). It is good for them to see you both ways so that he knows that things don't get magically done when he is away at work, you are working hard keeping the house/kids in order.

I think every effort is noticed at some point, depends on our day we might not notice every little detail, so don't get mad if we had a long hard day and come home and don't notice. Its the thought that counts right? I think it admirable if you try every day to look and smell good for me, but I would not expect it every day.

All the above that you stated is not necessary for
my wife to do, as she does those things just be-
fore we go out. Natural beauty is sufficient for me
and she always keeps herself clean and fresh and
not just for the times when I come home from
work. Married for more than 20yrs she has been
that way.

I wish my wife did those things, if you do maybe I can get a divorce and we could hook up. Just kidding. But, hell yes it makes a huge difference. If you do these things and your husband does not notice then he is one of the few.

It would make a difference, that would let him know you want to look good for him and you care how he feels.

It does make a difference. But he should be looking good for you also. I love to see my wife dressed and looking beautiful

Yes it does make a difference. There's nothing better than being reminded that you are married to a good looking woman.

for me, I like a womans natural beaty without make up. But she does not need to do anything to impress me. If we are married, I know she loves me, so I much perfer a hug at the door or maybe a naked surprise!

I know you're asking men, but I would like to give my opinion anyway.

A man who truly loves his wife wouldn't mind if he comes home to his wife looking less than perfect. He has seen her all dolled up, he know what he has. But, on the other hand (women) if you love your man you want to look sexy for him sometimes when he comes home just to keep him on his toes.
