Regardless of party?

It seems there is much to do and tearing each other's party down isn't getting it done!

You will never get rid of corruption in government. That is impossible.

A person is elected, they need money to get elected, they have to promise things to certain people to get the money to get elected.

Once elected they must do what they promised to get more money for their re election campaign. They dont care about doing what the people want. They care about staying in office.

The only way to have government be corruption free would be publicly financed campaigns and a one term limit.

You are right, the corruption is in both parties. The real evil behind all this evil is the globalist elite Illuminati, and their agenda of creating the New World Order, which I have said many times before, benefits them, but is an unspeakable nightmare for the rest of us.

The only way to get rid of the corruption is to pull the rug out from under the globalists feet, by abolishing the, the Patriot Act, the Federal Reserve, and then the IRS and the income tax! There would be other things that would need to be done, but these are the things that would have to be done first!

But, a very dear friend told me that it will not happen without a bloody revolution! *sm*

I did follow both questions, and this is what I observed:
1. The Republicans who answered the Republican question gave honest and objective evaluations of the Bush administration. I didn't answer, because I really do not want to see the answer used on this site as ammunition. Sad, but can you tell me I'm wrong?
2. The Democrats who answered admitted lying was wrong and then went onto defend it (except for Stephanie who answered honestly, and got called a Republican for it).
3. I saw nothing about corruption, I just saw political opinions.

I don't know why Americans today cannot tolerate opposing positions. The US has had opposing positions since day 1, and only once has the opposition led to civil war. And that issue was States Rights (or slavery, depending on what you believe). And really, who won that war? Thousands dead, the South devastated. Nobody won.

If your really serious about getting down to business with the corruption in government, you might as well start at the top and work your way on down. I have some websites I will mention where you can go to if you want to do something about the corruption at the top. Petitions on each site are already drawn up and waiting for people to sign them on-line and mail out to your representatives and also Senate on one of them. Really, it doesn't matter which party your from, if you want to have your voice heard, I suggest you start here. I think all of us could benefit from something like this, but it takes will power. I've been called many things for trying this, but I am hoping it works.

Please go to these sites:

http://impeachforpeace.org

http://www.democrats.com

These sites have petitions you can file if your in favor of ending the war and having certain high people investigated and also the big "Impeached" word people are afraid to really talk about on here. Don't worry about me tearing anybody's party down. I voted Republican for years, but this time I think Obama may get my vote. I do not hate Bush, but I am disappointed in his behavior. I no longer like to choose sides, I am for issues, not party.

I hate to say Stephanie is right. Both parties are corrupt and its not gonna stop anytime soon. I think if we could all find a more moderate medium things would be better. The left is way to far left. And the right should slide a bit closer to center.
