It IS only accurate 2-3 weeks later.
And don't risk it, you should get the day after pill.

If you're thinking of using the day after pill, you have to do it immediately. That's why it's called the day after pill. If you wait, it's too late. The day after pill is supposed to prevent the fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus. So, in a way, you will not be pregnant at all. You will basically have a "miscarriage". If you want this for an option, you need to do it immediately. Don't wait. If you wait, then decide you don't want to be pregnant, you will have to have an abortion, which is much more serious (in my opinion). Take care of yourself. Maybe call a pregnancy crisis center and see if they can help you. They are GREAT! It's all confidential and they are trained to help people in your situation. Good luck and God bless.

You can't wait for the test. It won't be accurate for a couple of weeks. The morning after pill won't hurt anything if you aren't pregnant, it only ensures that the egg doesn't attach. You really should talk to your parents about it. I know it's scary, but they probably will be very supportive and helpful, even if they are a little angry. You shouldn't have to deal with this stuff on your own- it's the reason you have parents.

Pregnancy can be detected with sensitive at hoem tests as early as 8 days after conception or it may take as long as 3 weeks depending on your hormone levels. ANY of which are far too late for theh morning after pill.

The day after pill prevents pregnancy and should be taken no more than a few days after intercourse. So if you are going to take the pill you need to take it now and stop worrying about the hpt.

the day after pill only works if you aren't pregnant yet. It is like emergency birth control. My advice is get it immediately, you can get it for about 30 bucks from planned parenthood, and take it. it is not 100 percent effective, so take a pregnancy test if your next period is late.

You can take an EPT test up to 5 days before your next period. Take it in the morning and follow the directions in the package.

Once you skip day 1 of your period, wait 7-10 days.
The day after pill doesn't work after the first 72 hours.
