Every time I turn around they are denying a medication that I am suppose to be taking. What makes them think that they are the doctors and know what's best for me?

Every time they deny you, SUE THEM in small claims court. They rarely show up to contest the lawsuit, and even if they do, you are likely to win.

I feel the same way, but the people who are making the decisions at the insurance companies are doctors, too...they have a board of nurses and doctors that decide these things and if your doctor disagrees he can write an appeal.

I feel for you, my husband and I go through the same stuff. I need Nexium for acid reflux and they won't cover it and it is around 160.00 for 30 days. I can't afford that and it's the only one that seems to work for me. Our diabetes meds aren't paid in full either and it's very expensive. We need Hillary Clinton in office, she said everyone would be covered with healthcare and I think she truly means it. Some meds can be covered if you qualify financially for free, check out the name of the drug company that makes your pills and write and ask them if they have a patient assistance program. I got two pills free for a year. Shire and Merck do it.

There is life without insurance. A piece of paper won't help you heal. And the insurance company definately won't help. Find your own answers for good health.

It is my opinion that organized crime moved from operating waste management to insurance companies. At least it feels that way.
