I go to The University of South Carolina. It is a beautiful campus with a lot of history. The buildings in the horseshoe date from the early 1800's. There is a wonderful spirit of pride among the students. We are proud of our school, our state, and downright fanatical about our football team. Admission is actually quite competitive. This year there were 14,000 freshman applications for admission for only 3,500 spots. If you have good stats, though, you should be okay.

I went to UD and the campus was wonderful. A typical surburban campus with lots of green and walkable (with a good bus system too).
