At the age of 16, the day of my birthday i lost both parents, and my kid sister. Not really having a choice, because i had a younger sister, i had to learn responsibility very quickly. So basically i had to grow up right away and be responsible

when I were 17 I find out that I were a responsible person, because I had to take care many things. Like a job, school work, study for SAT, find a good University....

When I was 9 years old, my Dad allowed me to buy a baseball glove on credit. I had to pay 25 cents a week. I earned the money and paid it off two weeks ahead of time. I've still got that glove. It's a good reminder to me as well as a keepsake.

WTH are you talking about? Am I supposed to start that already? I thought I would become responsible right after the kids leave for college.

I was about 8 yrs. old. My little sister would wake me in the night because she had wet the bed and needed help. I would get her changed and put her in bed with me. I was also the one my siblings ran to with their nightmares and skinned knees (and hopes and dreams when they were older).

I was in my 30's...probably 32 or 33. I thought I was earlier, but looking back. I was not.
