I am wanting to do a wipe of my drive using gwscan on my gateway gt5404 The boot cd works on all other computers but on mine it says it cannot detect my drive. It sometimes says free dos on it.

can u tell me what I can do to make it work? Thanks guys. I will give you points.

This may not be the problem, but an older disc may have trouble recognizing a drive with a newer or very different file system. A disc made to work with FAT32 may have trouble with NTFS, and a disc made to work with FAT16 may have trouble working with FAT32.
