Simmons and the whole gang of thugs who created and promoted hip-hop and rap are the source for comments like Imus made about the Rutgers team, in my opinion. Do you think we should start the censure with him and others like him?

No. He's already as popular as he's going to be. The man is very old and hasn't got much time left. We should absolutely not censor him or anyone else!

If he thinks the Rutgers women's b-ball team is full of "nappy-haired h*s", he should have the right to say this. If doing so hurts his ratings to the point that advertisers no longer wish to sponsor his program, then his program will go off the air. Censorship is a very slippery slope. The market can and will punish those who make offensive remarks over the airwaves. If he offended you, I suggest listening to his program until you hear a commercial break, then listen to who is advertising and vow to never buy anything from those companies.
