It sounds like your plug. First, don't panic. You can lose it and not go into labor for a few weeks. Second, call your Dr. just to give them a heads up but DON'T panic. Everything will be fine, but just keep them informed. Good luck.

Call your doctor. If you start cramping a lot then go to the ER and have your doctor meet you there. But it is sometimes normal to loose your plug and not go into labor right away. Your body is most likely getting ready for you to having your baby. I lost my plug early with my last child. I had him at the normal time and he was just fine. He is now a very happy and healthy 14 year old boy.

Please don't get scared! My friend lost her mucus plug at 8 months pregant and ended up delivering her baby almost a week after her due date. Losing your mucus plug does not mean you are going to go into labor ASAP, it just means that things are progressing towards the end. I have heard of people going 2 months after losing their mucus plugs. I would address the issue with your doctor and see what he/she thinks. I am sure they will most likely check you, to look for dilation. Good luck.

I lost my mucus plug 3 weeks before I gave birth to my daughter, you will need to see your doctor as they will give you a internal too make sure your not dilating, but don't panic all will be fine, even if your baby comes early your far enough into your pregnancy for the baby to make it with out any problems.

You should call your doctor now and explain what you saw. It sounds like your mucus plug - however it may not be. Please don't panic it's not good for you or the baby!! And don't forget, if the baby does decide to join the world early - with all of the technology we have today, he/she will be fine.

You can lose the mucous plug or bits and pieces of it many weeks before labor. It doesn't mean that you're going to go into labor. You should definitely call your doctor just to be safe because it was such a large amount, but don't worry so much because you'll probably be just fine.

Some women describe the mucous plug as looking more like the mucous in your nose. It may look like a thick glob of stringy mucous, thicker than what you would see with normal vaginal secretions. If you are close to going into labor you may see pink, brown, or red blood around the edges of the mucous plug. This is called the “bloody show”.

I would call your doctor but I wouldn't panic. Losing the mucus plug is just one of the ways that your body is preparing to go into labor. It is pretty normal for a woman to lose her plug and then go to term. But call your doctor and let them know, because they might want to check you out :)

You should be just fine.. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks or longer to go into labor after you loose your mucus plug.... Call your doctor if your really concerned and he/she will tell you what to do.. I wouldn't worry though, because like I said, it does take a while to go into labor after you loose the plug... At least that's how it was with all three of my babies... Just try to take it easy for a while.. Good luck and congrats!

Don't panic! Calm down. When you loose your mucus plug you are getting ready to have a baby sometime soon but that does not mean you will have your baby tomorrow. But if you do the Doc and hospitals today are great than they were a long time ago. So relax and go with whatever is happeneing. 32 weeks your baby will make it.

I don't know about having the baby early, but I would call your doctor asap, just to be sure. You might've lost your mucus plug but I don't think that means the baby is coming immediately. You might have a couple more weeks. My son came at 35 weeks, perfectly healthy.
Good luck...
