I think that it will be put on Cartoon Network because, if you do ever watch it, they are now mostly for older viewers. An example is Total Drama Island. They are also putting messages into they're shows that aren't meant for little kids to be finding out. Chowder has a message in the episode where everyone forgot about the anniversary. So to answer your question I think it'll be on Cartoon Network. P.S. not trying to be mean to Cartoon Network! I watch it a lot and i like it.

Cartoon Network is not designed for children. Some of the programs earlier in the day may appeal to children, but the late night programming is aimed at adults, hence ADULT swim. That way, you know if kids are watching, it's not appropriate and they should turn the TV off. Parents need to take an active role in what their children watch if they are up after 10:00 PM. There are channel blocks and reading the warnings for each show.
Cartoons may interest children, but Cartoon Network has cartoons both adults and children can enjoy, and cartoons in Adult Swim adults can enjoy.
Some of the things they have in the library in the childrens section may not be appropriate for children. Some things they have in bookstores right on the shelves next to childrens books and comic books children might like, and DVDs kids might like may be inappropriate. Some things they teach kids in schools like sex education, drug/smoking awareness and evolution may be inappropriate. Many things your child has access to on the internet can be inappropriate. Many people like teachers, friends and others who interact with your child on a daily basis might be inappropriate. See where I am going with this? Parents need to have a hand in their child's development. TV, Books, the Internet are tools, entertainment and, overall, just things. They should not dictate the development of your child. Parents are the people most important in a childs life, most important to a childs development and have the responsibility to teach their children. Children shouldn't be able to have access to a TV at 10:00 if you feel the cartoons are inappropriate. If you are worried, do not let your child have a TV in his/her room. Take an active role in seeing what yourchild reads, where your child goes on the internet, and what and whom your child is exposed to in thier everyday life.

First off, Cartoon Network is not a children's cartoon channel and does not sell itself as such. For the most part, their programming is for adult audiences.
Secondly, Adult Swim was created because of the demand viewers had of wanting more mature animation like series from Japan, where they don't stereotype all animation as "children's cartoons" like we do here in the United States. It is an art form used to tell stories just like soap operas or any other live action show.
Not to sound stand-offish, but it is not meant for children. Children not mature enough to be watching it shouldn't be watching television by themselves after 10:00pm. The FCC has set guidelines so that all networks can get away with more adult material after this time for this very reason.
Take some time to watch cartoons on that network; most all are watchable by children but they are mostly for an adult audience. If you would like a safer channel, I suggest Nickelodian.

I think if demand warranted it there would be a seperate Adult Swim Network.
With that said I do think that it is late enough at night where adults could enjoy themselves.
Why in America are we so uptight about things like this, and also I feel Cartoon Network is not exclusively a children's network.

it's called Cartoon Network, not Children's Cartoon Network.

They put a clear warning before Adult Swim comes on, saying that some material may not be appropriate for children. Their parents should be in charge of what they watch. The T.V. station can play whatever it wants. If you have a problem with it, don't watch it.

the shows feature warnings and ratings. and all tvs have v-chips now, and digital also have parental control settings.
and why on earth would a parent let a kid stay up that late. i get sick of parents complaining about what their kids might see on tv, its your job to make sure they dont see the shows you dont want them to see. its their channel, let them decide what to show and you just focus on what you let your own children watch.

It probably shouldn't be there's not much we can do. Just too many people watch it, especially Family Guy. But of course there's always the you should be 14 or older warning, not that many people heed it.
