For which of the following reasons did you vote for Bush twice?

a. "After 9/11, I was scared out of my mind and Bush's lip service made me feel safer;"

b. "He's an excellent public speaker;" or

c. "I like my President to completely ignore any domestic issues in favor of a war which will never end and for which my great-grandchildren will have to pay the bills."

I'm curious. What was so appealing about Dubya the second time around?

It'll be enlightening to see if they actually choose one of the lettered answers or try to write in their own. These are the kinds of people that scribble on their SAT when they don't know the answer, hoping that filling in the extra bubble (without a real answer) and writing the answer in will get them extra credit.

Edit: Oh, hey, look... someone already did it! lol

not any further. Stranger issues have surpassed off.. as nicely, there are a number of that nevertheless have confidence that the election that surpassed off to get Mr Bush elected replaced into STOLEN from Mr. Gore. And so a procedures as Kerry is worried, in the event that they cheated to get Bush in place of work the 1st time, who’s to assert that the 2nd time around their approach wasn't perfected so as that no person suspected that Kerry replaced into robbed? I don’t understand why that's that the naysayers are in such disbelief that Obama can become President of the united states. This u . s . a . belongs to the extra youthful voters now. they are getting rid of the shackles of racism; classism and all the different isms that the older generations nevertheless carry onto. Even most of the extra youthful voter’s technology mom and father and a few grandparents are increasing above the unfavorable in all those isms and are balloting for Obama. Don’t be fooled into thinking and or believing that Obama’s supporters are only Black human beings. Many Blacks at present are balloting for Hillary and many will vote for McCain. The youthful of all ethnicities and communities stands out as the figuring out ingredient of this Presidential contest.

d. none of the above. I voted him twice with only one regret - there was no one any better who was running. I stand by that, even as I am highly critical of his incompetence. I still would be forced to vote for him if I would otherwise have to choose Gore or Kerry. I know your eyes are rolling but you can't prove to me that my great-grandchildren would not be paying the bills or even if it would be worse. Again, Dubya's not that appealing. Hope the Dems get a clue and stop putting such leftists in the race. I doubt it after the way they treated Lieberman in '06

D. None of the above.

I voted for him the second time because I saw how crazy he made shallow, disloyal liberals after just four years, and hoped that four more years would drive those same liberals out of their minds completely, causing them to do America-hating things like support America's enemies around the world and side with terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I also thought it would motivate such disloyal Americans to vote liberals back into Congress where they would harm America so much in two to four years, that it would ensure the Republicans of another 30 years of majority.

I also wanted to see how much cowardly liberals could actually hate the man, and see them get to the point where self-important lefty posters on Yahoo's Answers actually would have to change their Answer's User Names to avoid the ridicule associated with the shallowness and silliness that had become synonymous with their previous Answers User Names.

LOL.

What was so appealing about Bush the second time around? Well, I agree with him on many issues, and mainly I just couldn't imagine voting John Kerry in to office... John Kerry is like the epitome of all I can't stand about liberals...

Btw since you asked and maybe care
a) The fact that we haven't had a terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11 makes me feel safer
b) He's a fine public speaker, despite the half-truths and juvenile mocking of him that passes for journalism and opinion in this country
c) I like him more for his stance on domestic policy than I do for the war in Iraq. Even though I'm glad Saddam is no longer giving his own citizens acid baths, and I'm glad that the terrorists are all lining up to fight us over there instead of over here, I think way too much has been spent on this war.

Then again, the Iraq war is like a termite defogger over in the middle east - it brings all the terrorists out of the woodwork so you can deal with them before they have a chance to destroy the house...

D. I couldn't stand the thought of Kerry being in charge of anything.

Hey it's the Democrats fault I voted for Bush either time. Are they really trying to tell me out of ALL the Democrats in this country that is the best they have?

I select a candidate for president based upon my perception of their ability to run the executive branch.

I try to avoid being an "issue" voter, since issues ought to be addressed in the Congress.

The president is elected to manage the Executive Branch, not to be an "Issues-Advocate-in-Chief"
