It's probably watching television soap operas or 'reality' documentaries. So I never watch them if I can help it and I never get bored. If I've nothing to do I log in to Yahoo Answers and have a go, or I read a good book, or I write some poetry, or I take a walk and get some fresh air, or I think about Tottenham Hotspur (I know that's sad), or I think about making love to beautiful women( happy days).

My inertia, when I was in my mid twenties I was always chasing my tail, and flopping around on the furniture every once in awhile complaining that I was bored, a friend said 'Bored is boring and interested is interesting'. Some times we are just mirroring our stuff out. Things cannot bore us or people it is just ourselves and our laziness that can. When we change perspective the situation changes, try it, make things interesting for a while.

On a GOOD day at work with not a whole lot to do...watching the minutes tick away like hours at a time.....On those really busy days..I like it cause time flies by so fast...Love that! BUT don't want to complain about those boring days cause they come too few and far in between.

Listlessness. I can be doing something dull, but thinking about something else and I'm fine. I can be doing something unpleasant or mundane, but thinking about the next activity or listening to music, and I'm still fine...

...but just occasionally I don't want to do anything.
Nor do I want to do nothing, and if an idea comes to mind it seems unappealing at the same time. That's the most - and probably only - boredom I can think of. Usually you've just got to sleep that feeling off (or self medicate).

Uneducated oiks that can only hold a meaningfull conversation about Coronation Street or Eastenders, I listen to them at work talking as if the characters are real people. Its not the fact that they are so thick, just the fact that they have to prove it so often.
