most iranian people can be trusted, just because they are iranian does not make them criminals! they are people who happen to live in/be from a country that doesnt have the best relations w/ the US and gets a lot of negative media right now. Be friends with some, maybe it would teach you the value of other cultures and show you the good in the people vs. the bad of the country's leaders on the news...

I've known two people from Iran, both through work. One is a great guy. Very laid back, friendly and up for a good time. The other one was a lying slutt. So, based on this experience, I would say NO - they are not all backstabbers, some are very trustworthy.

What a baited question. Can most Iranian people not be trusted??? You really think that much of your self to decide who is trustworthy and who isn't by their nationality? Well people like you who ask questions like this are usually fishing for a little attention. So that's all you get fool.

I know several Iranians, they are no more or less trustworthy than anyone else. They have some funny cultural ideals. For example in Iranian culture nobody ever arrives on time for something. It's common to be late by hours for something like a dinner party. It's actually considered rude to arrive on time, nobody expects it.

I know some and they've done nothing to me. I appreciate them for being for me when I needed them. It's not like they ALL are what some of their people are.
