Each different stone reacts differently - some are made more valuable by heat treatment changing their color. Quartz will have no problems. Stones (and glass) which is heated too quickly will may have thermal cracking problems. In a well controlled kiln, this is done by ramping up the temp over a reasonable time. In an oven it means putting it in cold and raising the temp in steps of about 100 degrees every 15 minutes or so. If you are talking about using them in polyclay and a maximum of 275, there should be no problems.

Yes, as it eats at the brain and leave holes in it. If some one were to use meth while they are pregnant it will most likely cause brain damage to the child, and birth defects of all sorts. Who knows, the child could even be born dead. Lets face facts, there are some pretty rank chemicals, Poisons in the meth and it will cause all kinds of damage. If some one were to use meth while being pregnant, God help them because they will get found out and they will go to jail. They will be charged with child endangerment or murder if it's born dead. Dang, I just about lost my hearing-Nightmissles music, Ouch!! Dude, that was loud.....That may cause you brain damage as well! I'm not going to assume that your talking about your self.
