On newer push lawnmowers there are no adjustments on the carb. When you take off the fuel tank and carb to clean trash from the tank these springs get bent some cause them to be out of adjustment or something to where it does not run right. What must I do to fix lawnmowers that have these cheap cheesy carbs on them? I think both are 3.5 briggs.

When you take off the carb pull it out a little. Look at the springs some have a solid rod on them with a bend at the end and that connects to the carb. Grab that piece and pull and twist in the same direction as the bend is and it should come out with no problem. Know if it is just a spring look at the end it looks like a circle find the end of the spring it should overlap now spread it apart a little
and slide it off. This should work for you. Hope I didn't miss anything he said.

A carb is common to rebuild. be valuable to have a observe e book to place in writing down notes approximately issues like how some distance out to show the hi Lo needles. counting, turn all of them the way in until they provide up, write this down. it may actually be someplace around a million a million/2 to a million 3/4 turns each and every, yet could be extra. once you get rid of cleansing and reinstalling them, you are able to reset them through turning all of them the way in, and chickening out the variety of turns you wrote down for each. Take the carb aside, paying interest to the variety you do it. Blow air through all the passages. If one is blocked, run a needle or small cord through it. Then blow air through it. Reassemble the comparable way you took it aside.

If it even is the carb...take it completely apart & soak it in gasoline to clean it. Then put it back on....should run.

The springs can be replaced though....
