Launder them and save them for later unless you need to hold onions or filter when vacuuming, as was suggested by others.
Things that might be done later:
1) Wear them under a second pair for extra insulation/warmth.
2) Carefully cut away the left leg, leaving the waistband and entire right half. When you ruin a right leg, repeat reversed and sew the two halves together for renaissance parti-colored hose.
3) Cut into a long spiral and use for crocheting a throw rug or foot mat for in a car, or to have on hand for tieing things instead of rope.
4) Cut into smaller pieces and discard the elastic. Use pieces for stuffing toys or throw pillows.
5) Cut into 12"-long tubes and use to keep dust off and spiders out of shoes.
6) If they're heavy opaque tights, they'd be a good material for stuffed toys, rather than just for stuffing.

Keep them with your vacuum and the next time you vacuum around your dresser or bed, take the attachments off the vacuum, slip the undamaged part of your tights over the end of the hose & vacuum away! The tights will save any loose earrings, earring backs, etc. from being sucked into the vacuum.

I've used such fabric when pouring mass-quantities of gasoline from a jerry can into a gas tank, as an initial sediment filter. Seriously, I keep torn-up stockings in the garage for just this use, and it gives you peace of mind about the vehicle involved.

We don this at our dance school to old tights for fasion and warmth. Cut the crotch out and cut off the feet then you can wear it like a top to keep your arms warm.

Hang in your mop closet and fill with plastic grocery bags, taking them from the foot when you need them.

wash and dry thouroughly, and use them in the kitchen to store raw onions one at a time with a small knot between each onion, they will always be available, yet ventilate the onions so that they wont spoil before you can use them.
