the diamond is on a ring and there is 4 of them and they are only about 2millimetres thick so i cant use the scratch it of glass method

inside the band there will be a number indicating the karat! 25 = quarter
50 = half
so on and so forth!

Scratching glass, Heating It up, Density test, Going to a Jeweler, If you have seen enough of both you can see the unnatural colors in the cubic zirconiums ("CZ") from the real thing. "CZ" Looks real to most eyes I would have to say especially if they are small.

Go to a jeweler any way. They will have a little electronic gizmo about the size of a fat pen. They can touch it to the stone and tell you in about 2 seconds whether it's real or not. It might cost you a couple of bucks, but it sounds like you'd be buying peace of mind.

Use it to see if it scratches glass, if it does scratch the glass then it is a real diamond, if it doesn't then it is most likely CZ.

Scratch a window with it. If it scratches glass, its a diamond.

put it in the fire if it melts its not real if its OK after 15 Min's then its real. real diamonds wont be effected even when put in a coffin of a person getting cremated.

there is no other way than to go to a jeweler. they are too small to tell on your own.

um... idk... best way is to go to jewler, most accurate, but if not im sure u can look it up on google or yahoo or any search engine ways to find out. im no expert, but theyll b able to tell u there. evrything is on the web lol :) good luck
