Which Comic book company do you prefer and why

MARVEL! The story lines are better. The tie-ins are better. I always liked the fact that the Marvel Universe takes place in real cities (i.e. New York). It blended reality and fiction perfectly in print. Marvel pushed the envelope and never seemed to talk down to the audience of fans. Stan Lee is the man! And Jack Kirby was a god!

I would say I love Marvel way more than DC currently. A lot of the comics I read are from Marvel and I am really liking what they are doing with the Marvel universe. The only thing I really read from DC currently is JLA and JSA, which aren't really that great.
Marvel has the writers and artists I totally dig.
But you can't forget indie comics! I have more of those than DC or Marvel. So, I guess it all depends on the story lines that are going on in the universe currently.

In my opinion, i think Marvel is better because the characters are more cool and the comics have more action, unlike DC because in the DC comics, they talk more than they fight, i barely get to the next page, no offense if anyone likes DC. The storyline of Marvel is also better.

Currently DC.
Marvel lost me after the House of M then plunging right into Civil War, it was just too much. Then there were the chronic delays with the Ultimate line of comics, not only that but there was no information from the company or apology for jerking us along.
Now DC did do that big Crossover thing too with Infinite Crisis but it was over quick then came the year later titles that were a lot of fun.
So I guess, make mine DC

I love DC.
All comics basically regurgitate the same old storylines but IMHO DC does it in a way that makes it seem fresh and new while not getting bogged down with a lot of the heavy soap opera stuff. They may have a long story arch but at least when you finish reading one book you don't feel like you just re-read last months issue again.

They're both great, but I think Marvel mostly because the characters seem much more 3-dimensional. Still, Batman kicks any heroes *** and Vertigo is the best ever.

Marvel--better characters, art writing, less hokey unexplained powers for the most part, more intense villains@@

Definitely Marvel, they have more interesting characters. And if memory serves me, when they clashed Marvel kicked ***!
