pond is smaller than the lake but pond contain pure water than the lake. in lake fishes could not be found but in pond u can found different types of fishes, lake can contain salty water but there is no salty water in pond, pond is maded by man but lake cannot made by man

its just a matter of size. a lake is always bigger than a pond. also lakes are generally deeper than the ponds.

I think a pond is spring fed and a lake has an inlet and and outlet. But, I could be wrong. It may just be a matter of size.

the diference is, a pond is much smaller than a lake. a pond can be big, but a lakewill always be much bigger than a pond.
