Yes, it happens often. I'm not good at picking out gifts, or I'm gifting unappreciative people. It is a struggle for me, so I usually get something practical or hand-made to be safe.

Yes, a few times. I put a lot of thought into gifts I give & it feels bad when the person barely says thank you, or anything at all after they open the gift!

I stopped giving Birthday gifts because of that.Now I give them cash.Problem solved.

More than once. It's the thought that you put into it that matters. if they didn't appreciate it, take it into consideration for the next birthday.

sometimes yes but at least i know what present to give to the people i care about and don't have similar situations with them...
about the rest i don't really care

i give them money so they can get what ever they want i used to get money from from grandparents i was happy

i dont give birthday gifts cause i dont go to bdays cause people hate me so they dont even tell me its their bday cause they dont want a present from me cause they hate me and dont tell me its their bday so i dont give gifts
