MTV used to be a cool network, but now it's polluted with shows like My Super Sweet 16, Laguna Beach, and The Hills.
What's the entertainment with watching spoiled teen girls bitching about how everything's not "just right"?
What's the deal with those lame dating shows, like Parental Control or Next?
When do you think they'll start getting back to playing music videos and edgier programming like "Beavis and Butthead", "Aeon Flux", "Jackass".

yes, Im sick of the reality shows - that kind of reality is sickening.
I miss headbangers ball. It pisses me off I could only find it sometimes late at night and I have to work. Do they think were all drug dealers or something?

Well I dont watch tv often, but the reason it went from Bevis and Butthead, Aeon Flex, Jack *** to spoiled young girls and lame dating shows was because people in that era were tired of that, you just caught up in a circle of trends. Eventually they'll change the show themes on MTV to something else untill people get tired of that. Eventually the theme would go back to going simple and show something similar to Bevis and Butthead, playing music, Jack ***, etc.

I'm really not sick of MTV i just don't watch it very often i really never did
Some of the shows on there are really stupid like Bam's Unholy Union and The Hills but every once in a while i will watch MTV
But you are right it has turned into ANOTHER reality station
On digital cable there are A LOT of chanels just with music videos on it!

I've been sick of the MTV and MTV2 for years...Sick of all these reality shows .What happened to the MUSIC VIDEO'S....I knew it was going downhill in 1996-now when they had beavis and butthead cancelled and the real world was on all the darn time.

they'll never do it...
I remember the good ole' days watching Beavis and Butthead eating chips and chilling...
At least now they still occasionally show Jackass and that is the only time I watch MTV

Honestly? I think MTV was a dog at the starting gate. Getting people to admit that is another story. Same dynamic during the 60's. Somehow, it was thought, we could cash in on

You got that right!! MTV died a long time ago..they need to come up with a music show that actually deals with music!

I remember when they actually played music videos on MTV. Now it's just another reality channel.

they need to put all that reality stuff on MTV 2 and play music on MTV.....its like the opposite now.....I watch MTV Jams all day long with maybe one commercial every half hour...if that.
