This girl finds a well placed wolf-whistle thrilling. I have even been known to dress for the occasion.

Depends. Mostly I take it as a compliment, but I considered it offensive when a neighbor guy of mine used to do it. He had a live in girlfriend, and they live across the street from me. It made me pretty mad if he did that, because his girlfriend hated me for it. It probably would have been alright if he did it once, but that wasn't good enough. I think if you go for a second wold-whistle, your being rude. You made your point the first time, let it go at that...

Sure I like to know a guy likes how I look, but I don't care to be whistled at like a dog. Show a little more respect and acknowledge it in a more meaningful way.

doesn't it just suck when the p c brigade jump on their high horse and tell us what we can or can't do ! as a number of females who've answered, admit they find it flattering that a man finds her attractive. it's nice to say they have a nice personality, but how do you know unless you have that attraction to them in the first place which gives you the bottle to go and speak to them to find out if they're nice or not. if a woman doesn't like to be whistled at, i'm almost positive they have the ability to inform us lesser intellectual males of there disposition, so we can keep our testosterone riddled bodies in check.

This was a discussion point on 'The Wright Stuff' the other morning and most of the women who phoned in said they liked it. So there.

Personally I usually get v embarrassed by it, but occassionally I do find myself smiling later on about it. (Delayed reaction!)
