I have a 51 plate Ford Fiesta Flight and I am sure that the front tyre bulges. I have had someone check it in case I am just being silly but they agree that it does. It doesn't seem flat but I am clueless when it comes to cars. Sometimes there does seem to be some vibration on the drivers side when going at speed but it has just been serviced and nothing was wrong. Any suggestions?

A bulge on the tire indicates a weakening of the fibers inside the length of the tire. Have it replaced

Depends on what you mean by "Bulge". Is it a small bulge like a golf ball is wedged down there or does it just look like the tire is low? If it is the former, that means the sidewall of the tire has been damaged somehow and is weak. This could be a potential problem as it could lead to a blown tire down the road. If it is the latter of the two, then check your tire pressure and make sure it is set at the recommended setting. If you are unsure then take it to a tire place to have them inspected. Even though you had recent maintenance not all places are professionals when it comes to tires and they could have easily overlooked something or wrote it off as an unimportant issue.

A car tyre is made from fibres, a bit like a net curtain, that is coated in rubber and made into the shape of a tyre. The net curtain inside has been torn making the rubber weak. It probably happened when the tyre hit a curb. Change it as soon as possible, and keep your speed down until you change it. It also better to change the tyre on the other side at the same time, and keep the best on as a spare.

if the bulge is in one spot the side wall may be damage and you will require a new tyre - if the bulge is at the bottom check the pressure - it should be around 30 psi. the front tyres will always bulge more than the rear due to the weight of the engine so do not over inflate to get rid of the bulge altogether - this is dangerous.
the vibration is more than likely wheel balenceing.

I sounds as if the internal steel cables or wires that line the inside of your tyre have been damaged. This can be dangerous especially if it is a front tyre. I would not risk driving on it any longer just have it changed.....your life is worth more than any tyre.

When you say bulge, is it low on air pressure? Or do you mean it has a bubble on the sidewall? If it does, then get the tire changed, it is not safe. The ply's have separated and weaken the strength of the sidewall which could blow out and send you head first into oncoming traffic.

It just isn't worth it. Get new tires on it. Good luck

Go to a tyre change outfit like Kwikfit, and they will give you free advice.
Sounds as if you have either a different style of tyre on the one wheel, which stands out as over pressured, or you have a weak tyre wall. Don't leave it. Go tomorrow!!

It's a weak spot in the rubber and could cause a blow out that might be fatal at high speed. Get a new tyre.

If it is bulging - change it - it is failing and could blow out! Not worth the risk for the sake of £25 - £30

That tire is on the verge of bursting, get it changed immediately. If it bursts at speed you will possibly crash your car.
