First you need to market meaning wear them and be consistent with your products. People will see you and look at you and even your own friends will notice a change in your looks. They will ask about how you take good care of your skin and what do you use from there book an appointment with them and have a make up party. Gather all your girlfriends and have a makeup party. Have fun and make coupons so you keep your customers and just be loyal to them if you're loyal to them they'll be loyal to you to. Makeup parties are soooo much fun. in generations now a days girls love to wear fun colors. If you have fun colors don't be afraid to use them and just make your eyes more stand out when you go out but not soo much that you'll look like a clown.
Also when your friends have birthdays use your products to give them like on birthdays, anniversary, showers offer to do a brides makeup for FREE don't charge and also when it's xmas time use your products to give away noting else. This is what I do and I always get my friends to buy from me. Make your business fun and have some enthusiasm when girls see that they'll want to get in with you make your makeup more fun than the rest.

I hate to be unkind but girls will probably not want to sell AVON products. Their moms and grandmas had used them and the generation gap alone will make them steer clear of the product. All those models on TV and the magazines dont even mention AVON. Why dont they advertise there by the way? If you want to sell to a certain market (example 12-20 yr olds), then you must advertise to that group. Does Avon do this?

try at your local colleges, vocational schools, beauty schools, etc...avon is not crap, many of their products are very good!!! i`ve been using their makeup for years, not exclusively, but i find that the majority of their products provide good value for the price...i`m not a slave to any one particular brand of makeup, so i just choose what works for me from different companies...my aunt has sold avon for many years & she makes a tidy sum from it!!!
as an afterthought, while i was reading the comment from the person after me...actually avon came out with their "mark" line that is geared for the teens & younger ladies...they do advertise in the teen magazines, because i have personally seen the advertisements...

Well...I'm a consultant for a company called Purse party. We sel purses and jewelry. I market myself everywhere I go. Women are always asking me where I got my purse or necklace. I guess that would be kind of hard to do with make up though. HMMMM Try going to beauty salons, offices, nail salons, anywhere there will be a lot of women. Dr. offices too! They might all buy!
