I love it too...
It's one of those "cheap thrills" in my life.
Sometimes I think that's the whole reason I answer so many questions! Just in hopes of getting picked! However, I will say too that I answer a lot of questions knowing that not only am I not going to get picked, but a whole lot of people are going to dis me.
I really love Y!A though; I worry it's becoming an addiction.
(Please, please, puh-leeze give me best answer!)

When I first started out here on Yahoo Answers, I thought that it was the greatest feeling in the world to check my email and discover that one of my answers had been chosen as a Best Answer, but after a while, the thrill wore off.
In terms of having my answer picked as the best one, when that has happened more than once and I get a fairly large amount of those emails that say "your answer has been chosen as best answer", that for me is one of the greatest feelings in the world.

It is an awesome feeling...
In fact I found Yahoo Answers by accident clicked on it by mistake and figured I'd just answer one interesting question and never come back.
The next day I checked my email and it said I got chosen as best answer.....Wow!!! After that I was hooked, I've just kept coming back again and again to answer more question and hopefully recieve more 'Best Answers'
So far it has been working out great, I logged in today and noticed that I've recieved a "Top Contributor" Badge and since I thought I'd never get one of those, that was just as great a feeling as getting a 'Best Answer'

very good aspect. i imagine that we would might want to be very careful about bringing faith into the prevalent public college. In Europe in some international locations, there's a time positioned aside for religious preparation. There are separate classes for each religious denomination. i do no longer comprehend if that would want to artwork right here, yet shall we evaluate it as an decision, providing the legal complications are worked out. we'd want to appreciate the rights of Jews, Mulims, Hindus, atheists, and others. In Europe all religious colleges are supported by the state. i imagine that in France and Germany clergy of all religions receive a salary from the state.

Personally, I really feel.....Good'n'happy that I put the best answer that I could and that it was chosen. I take time to put an answer that fully answers and can in some way help the person asking the question, and even just by answering I feel good. Knowing that mine was selected as the best makes me feel even better, that I helped someone out. ^.^

I do enjoy getting that e-mail saying one of my answers has been chosen as best, but the feeling fades for me seconds after seeing which question the answer was for (the feeling lasted longer for the first 5 or 10 "best answers")

I think it's great, I used to feel like I was having a conversation with the invisible man and thought I was a bit barmy but after my first best answer I realized people were really out there and reading my answers. Now I'm really barmy and I love it!

I totally agree with you! It feels good knowing you got best answer to a question and possibly even helped somebody, and earning 10 points in the process so you can get closer and closer to the next level! =)

Words can't describe it. It's just a great feeling to know yours was the best. Until you see that your answer was the only answer. It also makes me think about what the worst one was.

The excitement has waned. I become sullen when I ask a question because points are deducted and my 'best answer' percentage fluctuates. However, I do like to get answers to my questions!
