On newborns, heck yes. They can't be put to sleep.

On adults, however, you can ask to be put to sleep, so it's generally painfree during the procudure.
Recovery takes a week or two. I've heard that there may be pain during erections, but you can take pain killers for that. So the discomfort is just during the recovery.
If you're uncircumcised you have the benefit of choosing.

Of course it does! This is cutting the most sensitive part of the body. It doesn't hurt while you're under anesthesia, but afterwards I've heard it's dreadful. Just say NO to circumcision! Foreskin is normal, healthy, and desirable for all men.

You better believe it and any pro circumcision person who tells you otherwise is being economical with the truth to the extent of lying.

They give us topical medicine to sedate the pain, but we still scream our heads off. It could be that we are babies, too.
The worst pain we ever experience - is my guess. Or maybe we are just being babies about it.

Usually it's done with a local anesthetic. Your doctor will give you something for the mild pain that will follow.

OF COURSE!
It hurts when you chop off any body part,
except hair or nails.

NO IT DOESN’T. It’s the skin that gets cut off, not you pines. It's not that bad. You’ll be fine.
