I guess my question is 'why do you hate them?' I used to work as a docent in a zoo and got to take snakes around to let people touch them and learn about them. Most people think that snakes are slimy or awful to touch. They're quite surprised when they actually touch them for the first time to find out they are actually smooth and supple like a leather purse. Also they're quiet and fairly well behaved as far as pets go and they're easy to take care of. My favorite thing about snakes when i was a docent was that they are cold blooded so the snakes would be quite cool when we took them out of their air-conditioned buildings. I got to walk around on a hot day with a nice 'cooler' wrapped around me. Didn't last that long but it did feel good!

I live in the UK and the only two common snakes are the adder and the grass snake. I live near the north downs and in the rough grasslands there are quite a few adders and if I dont disturb them from sun bathing they wont bother me but if I was to accidently stand near one they will give a loud hiss and curl themselves into striking position and try and lunge at me...that;s scary enough. The grass snakes live near river banks because they eat water creatures like frogs etc but they are not poisonous. I can pick one up and they dont bite me but they squirt some stuff on my clothes and the smell is putrid and I soon put them down again.

I Love snakes. Well now I do because if it wasn't for the snake I had in the basement I would have got a nasty bite from a raccoon.So I Love snakes.

I believe no animal should be hated even if it is different looking than humans. They are great animals and are good for the enviorment. If there were no snakes we would have millions of rats, mice and other nasty rodent in our homes. I'm sure you wouldn't want that. You don't have to love them but you do have to respect them.

I love snakes since i was a child, I even own a snake.
They are easy to care for and don't demand much.
I have a corn snake, it's not poisonous but it would be interesting to have a poisonous one.

I love all animals eccept from spiders there creepy and ugly!
I love snakes except from one tipe of species! The milk snake look shorrible and even though its not poisoness it looks horrible!

i love snacks i have the movie snakes on the plane movie. and anaconda part 1and 2. most snakes are afraid of you more then your a fraid of them unless they are poisonous,grass snakes are harm less but if you go to the dessert. then you go some thing to be afraid of.

snakes and tarantulas are my favourite animals at the moment I have 4 snakes and 36 tarantulas

I wouldn't personally own a snake, but I think that they're pretty neat animals.
