I love animals, but I can't stand a cat that hisses at me or turns away when I try to pet it....makes me mad, for some reason........

You've been to my house and met Buddy, huh??? LOL
My avatar is Karma Kitty, but we also have Buddy...a gorgeous,15 pound orange tabby that is soooo snuggly on HIS time.
He'll hop up on you and begin 'making muffins' on you...he loves to nestle his head under your chin and purr, purr, purr...then all of a sudden, he gets all pissy, hisses and jumps down!
It gets under my skin and makes me not want to pet him next time, but I just realize he's Buddy and I love him oodles ;-)

Yes. I had a manx onetime. He was laying down on his back and I started rubbing his stomach and he was acting like he was enjoying it. Then all of a sudden he just latched all four claws into my arm and drew blood. Yes. It made me very angry and I think I did smack him.
