I agree. If the man breaks it off then the woman should keep the ring, but if she's the one who dumps him, then she needs to give back the ring too

I think the man gets it back regardless unless he gave it to her on another holiday, like Christmas or Valentine's day. If so, then it is a gift rather than "a contract to marry," and she gets to keep it.

If the man breaks it off, then the woman keeps it, unless she was caught cheating on him! If he cheated on her, then she definetly gets to keep it! If they both cheated, then I don't know! They are both losers & neither should get it!
