I very much dislike cars. I think they stink, sound ugly and are not at all reasonable means of transport. Unfortunately there are not many of my kind.
If anyone can tell where on this planet earth is a region where people ban cars for the reason of a better life in pleasant surroundings, please let me know.

Amish communities. There is a large Amish population near Lancaster Pennsylvania.

Banning automobiles completely, would be very stupid, if the world banned automobiles, then the governments would lose out billions and billions of dollars yearly.
Making most automobiles hybrids would be a good idea, but not banning them.

Mackinac Island, in the Straits of Mackinac, between Michigan and Ontario. Horses, bicycles and feet only.
Quite a nice place, actually. You'd probably love it.
