God, theres so many! The ones that springs to mind at the moment are in Armageddon when Liv Tyler is saying goodbye to Bruce Willis and she starts crying and calls him dad, then the screen goes blank. I thought I was going to burst something I was crying so hard! The other one is when John Coffey gets executed in The Green Mile and he asks them to leave the hood off because hes frightened of the dark

The movie was called Grave of the Fireflies. These kids (brother and sister) survived the fire-bombing of Tokyo during the end of WWII.
So many people died, they had to bury the dead in mass graves.
The kids were out and caught a bunch of fireflies one night, and all the fireflies had died. The girl thought it would be nice to give the fireflies a burial like they buried their mother.
The scene flashes back to the bodies being piled upon each other, most are unrecognizable, some are bandaged like mummies.

The ending of "Saving Private Ryan".
Captain Miller is dying, and Private Ryan kneels beside him... and we then fade to James Ryan kneeling beside his headstone at the World War II Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, Colleville-sur-Mer
I bawl like a baby... I remember a friend dying in my arms after being run over by a helicopter at NAS Atsugi Japan, April 13th 1990.

The Little mermaid, where she is on the dock, watching the wedding barge, HER wedding barge sail away into the sunset.
I knew the film would end happy, but it still didn;t detract from that scene. I didn't cry, but I got teary

I always cry when I watch The Color Purple -- when the sisters are being (literally) torn apart, the abuse, and when they reunite. I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!
The Pursuit of Happyness -- OMG -- Will Smith and his son had me SOBBING OUT LOUD in the movie theater. You would think I knew them personally. I had to get more tissue - the things he went through -- that was the best example of long-suffering!! He didn't give up and stayed on the positive path even when he was dying inside -- I'm tearing up right now :-( It gave me the courage to go on despite my problems.

And also the first time i saw Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire when Harry is crying over Cedric's body and doesn't want to leave him. Took me hours to get over that one!

the end of con air when mam dad and daughter are hugging, and how do i live without you is playing in the background.
only gets me if i've watched the WHOLE film.doesnt have the same effect if i just see the end!!!!!!!!
