What kinds of turtle? No animal can live off just one thing and I have never heard of an animal that can live on just fruit. Fruit has a lot of sugar in it.

Find out what type of turtle you have and then do some research. You shoud really know the basic feeding requirments before getting a pet, not to mention housing, lighting, etc

put it back in the wild. Wild caught animals undergo severe stress symptoms when taken into captivity and often stop eating or eat very little because of it. Some box turtles have a sensitivity to tomatoes because of the acidity and should only be eaten as a rare treat. You should put the turtle back in the wild. If it's injured, bring it to a wildlife rehabilitation center.

it can have fruit but not as a staple. the species wasn't said but i'll elaborate on either type. water turtle can't have it hardly at al only in isloated cases. they simply can't handle the sugars in it. if it is a land turtle like a box turtle or other type of tortise then it can dependng on species. try to id your pet and go to one or better yet both of these website for all types of info from basic care to medical treatment. (these sites are FAQs and are very navigatable. both have turtle bios to help with identifiying you pet and one has pictures.)

No. Box turtles in the wild eat about 75% insects, and the rest is roughage.

Try a diet of about 1/3rd live insects, bugs, worms, snails, etc., 1/3rd good, well-soaked, weight maintenance cat food, cooked chicken, scrambled eggs in shell, etc., and 1/3rd 'salad'- dark leafy greens, berries, mushrooms, etc.

obviously not just on fruit. Gold fish make for nice snacks, especially when ill.

We used to mostly feed ours the turtle feed pellets. He got goldfish when he seemed ill and always got better. Sometimes we'd feed him fruit/ veggies.

Oh, uh mine was aquatic. That matters some.

Not fruit alone and not in large quantitys. Fruit's acidic and sweet which can potentially damage their insides and isn't very healthy for them.
