Thanks for all your help. It's a 2001 and I accidentally dropped a pop cap down the vent when it was open. I fear that it will damage my car

will not damage anything, just may be annoying when the blower is on, and stops and acceleration as it moves around.

If you can see the cap you should be able to pop off the dash then the vent fairly quick and then just grab it out or if it is out of reach put a shop vac in there.

It will mess with the air flow to that vent, rattle around and make noise. So I would say start digging into it and get the pop can out. Learn from your mistakes.

It might affect the air flow no one is for sure until they see what happened

turn on fan if u hear grinding its a problen ,,if normal its ok...should not b a prob. suck it out with shop vac.
