Yes I do...Every single sneeze
I remember once, my first cousin and I were riding a train through town and there was an old lady who got on and sat across from us. She must of had alergies cause she kept sneezing throughout her entire trip and everytime she sneezed we both said god bless you and the people around us were telling the lady you are gonna be very blessed today hehehe

Everything Changes. When people died of the black plague in Europe a good 7 or 800 years ago. they would go into uncontrollable sneezing just before death.
The Pope at that time decreed that people should be blessed when they sneeze.
Today it has evolved into an insult not to bless someone who sneezes. Like most things , we no longer remember why, we just do it.
And YES , I too am under the spell of the sneeze.
God Bless You!

Yes the first time they sneeze. If they are going on a sneezing jag I just say, "You get one bless you a day so you're covered!" ;)

One "bless you" for the first sneeze. All others after that for the same person I usually say "you only get one".

It's funny that people think its a sign of politeness....it's based on the reasoning that when you sneeze it gives evil spirits time and opportunity to enter your body.
Of course we all know now, that is not possible.
I don't think God gives a crap if you sneeze or not, and he's certainly not going to bless you for it.

I always say "gazundatight," which is a version of "gesundheit" (German version), I made it up to be cute with my son when he was a baby, and it just sort of stuck... It wouldn't be me to say anything else.
It's bad luck to not say something when someone sneezes, and I think most people think they are being way impolite if they don't say something.
