My friend went over to America recently and found that her son's Play Station took ages to charge. She's going back and wants to take a laptop but is concerned about how easy it is going to be to charge it. Any advice?

Most power supplies for laptops are dual voltage capable. Look at your power supply module (brick). It will tell you what voltage it is capable of handling.

Here in US, the AC is anywhere from 110 to 125 volts. (typically 115 volts)

Be sure your plugs are the same one we use here.
