Yes I believe, the island where I live has a history of hauntings and ghostly sightings.
I myself have seen two ghosts on the island in my 27 years of living here, one was a friendly ghost that just played out that last 5 minutes of her life over again on certain nights of the year.
The other was a ghost who was intent on hurting all those that entered its house, especially the small bedroom in the house. Had to get a priest to exorcise it - not a pretty sight.

Some people are more in tune with the paranormal and can sense things easier than others so are more likely to see a ghost. I myself am one of those people and tho I cannot see them all the time I can sense if one is near or if something bad has happened in a place resulting in death.

My mums house is haunted & it scared the life out of me as a kid!!!! I used to hear noises, sense things behind me & once even had the pleasure of being scared to death by the loft door being swung open when I was the only 1 in the house...even though I neva saw anything I knew there was something there.
I did some research a while ago in to the house & found a woman had lived the most of her life & only left it when she died, the new people who had only been there a year then sold it to my mum.
Since I found out who I think it is haunting the house, it has calmed down but im still scared to go in there alone & im now 30!!

My son used to see a man when he was about 18mths old, he would stare into space & smile or babble to nothing, there were times when he would be very scared & once was lifted out his cot....I was down stairs & heard him running across my room, he nearly fell down the stairs in fear!!
Luckily he doesnt remember anything about this but I do & it was a freaky time..

I do think it depends on wot u believe in but I know 1st hand that there all around us!!!!!

Yes Ghost is real. It is a lost soul that can't find a home. Onced that soul is settled, it is no longer a ghost.

Yes. Ghosts are souls trapped on this plane by theiir own fear and / or guilt. they hold on tightly to this plane because they are scared of something-- such as punishment for their "sins" , or that someone else will take their possessions ( only especially greedy souls get trapped this way.)-- or other such sillinesses. Time sense for them is not the same as for us on this physical plane. There are specialized spirits ( or "angels, if you prefer) who seek out these trapped souls and release them from their self-imposed prisons.

I prefer the terms "spirits" or "souls" over "ghosts".

Energy impressions can get stuck in a loop as well creating strange phenomenons..

I think there is definitely something out there. Iam a huge fan of "Most haunted" & my belief in ghosts is better after watching this show.

People can say what they want about the subject but I do think there is something out there.

For the most part no, but the night after my grandma died my grandpa said he heard a noise in the hallway and saw someone at the door and he said "I think that was Evie checking up on me." He said the cat was acting funny too. Anyway,
Its sweet, so I like to think that it happened.

No. Ever notice how ghost sightings are always told second or third hand? It's always someone's boyfriend's cousin's mother's best friend who saw whatever.
