I had my period almost a week after having sex using condom. my period was very normal but 3-4 days before time, which I think is also quite normal. Can I still be pregnant? ie. even after having a normal period and no major symptoms of pregnancy? Is it required to take a pregnancy test? When earliest can I see the right results from a home pregnancy test after having sex? What are the symptoms seen at the earliest stages of pregnancy and how soon do I start seeing them after having sex.

Anything is possible when a penus goes into a vagina. The condom may have broke or whatever. You can still have what seems like your period after getting pregnant. Even for months afterwards. I didn't know I was 21 weeks pregnant for sure until today and got blood test from doctor because I had period like bleeding every month so far but has been a little strange a different than normal. I took three home tests and a urine test at doctor, all were negative. The last one I took was a few days ago! After I had THE sex that did me in. ha I got my period two days later but was three days early and lighter than normal and then I got light pinkish brown spotting for 3 days 8 days after that which I now believe is what they call implantation spotting. I also had spotting in between my period times. So who knows? Every woman is different. But since you used a condom, I'd say no it's pretty unlikely. Symptoms usually don't come for atleast few weeks after pregnancy, like tiredness, hungrier, tender breast, nausea etc. And you may or may not have all of them even then. good luck

Well, I dont believe you're pregnant b/c if you were u wouldnt have had your period or it would have been shortened. Plus some symptoms are frequent urination, morning sickness & basically you would be able to tell the changes in your body. But just to be safe definitely take a pregnancy test!!

NO! why do people have sex and not know how to get pregnant and prevent pregnancy. NO if you had your period you do not need to test. if that was the case women would be testing every month.

I would say that you're probably not pregnant. However if it would make you feel better take a test. If you have already had your period since the intercourse now would be fine to test. Best of luck to you.

You are not pregnant. You have already had your period. I don't think you should bother taking a test.

if you had your period, you're not pregnant. You could possibly spot but you wouldn't have your regular period. don't worry about the symptoms of early pregnancy, you'll just make yourself crazy and think you have every one. just relax.

you sound awfully young. you need to stop having sex and learn about your body how it works and what not. if you had a normal period you arent pregnant
